ABOUT VDC

Virtual Design Construction (VDC) is an advanced approach to planning and project management, built on the integration of BIM technologies, early-stage multidisciplinary coordination, and process optimization from the very beginning of the design phase.

The role of the VDC consultant is to ensure that all stakeholders, designers, project managers, contractors, and developers, work from a unified and clear project vision, saving time, minimizing errors, and ensuring precise, seamless execution on site.

Execution Monitoring

At the start of each project, the VDC manager defines a set of measurable, project-specific objectives that reflect the real goals of both design and execution.
These objectives include required levels of coordination, process timelines, and success criteria tailored to the client’s needs.
By establishing clear goals upfront, all participants align toward a common direction and shared purpose.

The VDC manager is responsible for shaping an effective workflow that integrates all disciplines, design, consulting, execution, and project management.
This includes defining interfaces, tools, schedules, and decision-making structures that foster a collaborative, coordinated, and efficient working environment throughout the project.
The process is defined in advance, enabling greater control over changes, issues, and deviations from the design.

The VDC consultant leads the project’s key coordination stages, focusing on problem analysis, prioritization, solution development, and implementation.
During clash detection and decision-making sessions, the VDC consultant consolidates inputs from all stakeholders and translates engineering data into actionable insights for informed decisions.
The emphasis is on deliverable quality, error prevention on site, and creating designs that are fully buildable.

We integrate advanced digital tools and dashboards for real-time project monitoring and management.
These systems provide accessible visual data on coordination status, open issues, model quality, and more, even for stakeholders who do not use Revit or cloud platforms.
This ensures full transparency, enabling every decision-maker to easily understand the project’s status at any given time.

VDC continues beyond the design phase into execution.
The VDC manager oversees openings, coordination checks, and field changes, ensuring consistency with the approved model.
This proactive monitoring minimizes gaps between design and construction, maintaining the highest level of quality through to project delivery.
